St Lucia King have been waiting patiently for Tim Seifert and Noor Ahmad to arrive from The Hundred. They have been unfortunate that both were part of the Manchester Super Giants' team which went all the way.

Given the importance of the pair to Kings, the franchise can reckon they've done well in their absence. Two wins from four keeps them bang in contention with the cavalry in town. Seifert, in particular, adds much-needed batting power to a line-up which looked pretty powderpuff. The New Zealander's form in The Hundred was sensational as he finished at No 2 in the top runscorer charts to Mitch Marsh.

Seifert is 15/82.88 for top bat. It's short on win rate with four wins in 22 in the last two years for the Kiwi in the competition. And probably too short on career mode, too. His runs or an overs play at 23.5 may be the shrewdest option at 5/61.84.

Despite the tournament running for almost two weeks, Guyana have played just once. That was a win over Jamaica, who they would usurp in second with success here and then go top. That says a lot about the tight nature of the tournament. Jamaica appear to be going well. Yet the reality is they are likely to need to win each of their last three matches to make the top four.

Guyana are often underrated on the outright market. They are taken to go deep although it might be a good idea to get their batting order sorted. Using Glenn Phillips as opener is an interesting call when Quentin Sampson has played that role. Phillips is a natural finisher, Sampson might not be We're not sure Mohammad Nabi's in the right slot at No 5, either.

The Warriors love nothing more than chopping and hanging their batting order and it could be that Sampson is given a chance at the top. The 9/110.00 about him topping for GAW is a fair play. Shai Hope is the man to beat, of course, but he has won already and we don't like to go in for back-to-back bets.

Antigua & Barbuda Falcons v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots CPL Tips

This could be a watershed game for Falcons and Patriots. Both have two defeats from three and they sit sixth and seventh respectively. Falcons have a superior run rate but it is hard to escape the feeling that the loser from this one slips into a deep funk. For Patriots there may be a familiar sinking feeling.

It is no surprise they are struggling. They always do. A 51-run loss to Jamaica on Tuesday was a hammer blow. They went round the park bowling first and were than rolled for 130. They had to retire out their No 7 (Navin Bidaisee)  because he was too slow. That's a lesson they need to learn quickly. Jason Holder should be batting ahead of him. In short, they can't seem to get anything right.

Falcons started the competition well with a win over Kingsmen. They have suffered two narrow defeats since, by four runs and three wickets. Both against St Lucia. It could be they are in a false position. On personnel and balance it certainly appears so. They should be bang in the mix for a play-off with their squad.

We will line up a bet on Falcons when prices become available. A choice affair would be ideal but they could be narrow jollies
