Gattica wasted no time getting his chips in and doubling up, he had pocket kings vs Qs- good start 

He then also called the online supreme durr with his A10 vs durr A3, upon winning the pot and eliminating durr; gattica let out a big grin- he was loving the poker.

Meanwhile philly was holding onto his short stack very well, whilst people were busting out around him he was slowly being blinded away but making more money in the process. He finally ended up pushing and all his table folded due to his uber tight rock image he had created. He then moved table so when he pushed for the second time with his K8 he was called by A3, a king on the flop gave him some hope but the turn was an ace and no help on the river left him finishing in 40th place with a very respectable $25k(AUD)

When it hit the last 36 there was a redraw and tables became 6 handed.

Not much action happened to report on but there were 22 players left going into day 4, with only I member of team betfair remaining on just under the average stack.
