In the 4.30 at Newmarket Ouqba should open his account. At his first attempt he ran strongly against the well regarded Art Connoisseur at Newmarket when he met some trouble in running. The selection should improve for the run and is currently trading at [2.52] on the exchange.

Saturday 3rd May

Passage Of Time should go very close in the 2.45 at Newmarket today. This filly ran her heart out at Monmouth Park last year when finishing third to Lahudood in the Breeder's Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Today the opposition is considerably weaker and I think she will be hard to beat. At present she is trading at [2.4] on the exchange.

Friday May 2nd

At Mussleburgh today in the 2.50 Harwalla has shown me enough to suggest he can take this race based on his solid second to Lisburn at Nottingham on his debut outing. At present the selection is trading at [2.18] in this race.

Topazes has a decent chance of following up a last time out win when running at Folkestone today in the 4.20. The selection showed improved form when winning a fair race at Southwell a week ago.

Today, with normal improvement, he should prove hard to beat in this contest

Wednesday 30th April

At Worcester in the 4.50 Circus Of Dreams should go well in this two mile National Hunt Flat race. Last time out this gelding ran on really well finishing second to Kingston Lane at Chepstow.Owner and breeder David Knox has had success in these events in the past so I would monitor the market carefully. At present Circus Of Dreams is trading at [3.05].


Over at Ascot I will be having a small bet in both markets on Caldra in the 3.20. At one point Caldra was considered a Group 1 horse by his trainer and despite some smart form has failed to impress. He has won a Group 3 event at Ascot and his stable is capable of having him ready off the shelf. He will be around [25.0] for the win and [6.0] for the place in this contest.

Tuesday 29th April

In the final race at Sedgefield today (8.20), Sir Mulberry Hawk should go well.

The selection was just worried out of things close home in his last race and has a solid opportunity to go one better today. I'll therefore be recommending to back him. He is currently trading at [2.28] on the exchange.

Monday 28th April

At Yarmouth today in the 4pm Coin Of The Realm looks to have a decent chance of winning this maiden. Last time out the selection really showed a good attitude finishing second to Bold Choice in a fair race. With that run under his belt, this well-bred colt should go one better.

Over at Lingfield in the 2.20, Nawamees is worth a small lay in the opening event. He has a couple of rivals that could trouble him in this tricky affair and at his current price of [2.36] does not represent value in my opinion.
