Daily Selections: A week of bets from July 21st to the 27th
Don't leave it late as today's selection runs in the opener at Ascot.
In the first race at Ascot today at 1.40 Kaateb should go close in this event over ten furlongs. Last time out the selection put up a decent display when winning a fair handicap at Sandown wearing a visor for the first time. The equipment change helped this gelded son of Alhaarth focus and he can build on that success today.
Today's Selection:
Ascot, 1.40, Kaateb, Win

At Ascot today it is difficult to see past Duke Of Marmalade in the 4.20 .He clearly has the best level of form on offer and on pedigree the one mile and a half distance should not pose any problems for him.At present the selection is trading at [1.86] and I have backed him at this price.
Over at York in the 2.40 Suzi's Decision is an interesting runner in this handicap for his in form trainer. This Act One filly is on the upgrade and impressed me last time out at Leicester when after meeting interference she showed a good turn of foot late on to win easily. She has more to do today but i think she is up to the task.
Today's Selections:
Ascot, 4.20, Duke Of Marmalade, Win
York, 2.40, Suzi's Decision, Win

At Ascot today in the 2.45 Almiqdaad could go well on debut in this fascinating maiden. The selection is beautifully bred and holds some interesting entries later on this year. At present he is trading at [8.0] on the exchange.
Over at HQ in the 6.10 I will be giving King O' The Gypsies another chance after his defeat at the July meeting at the hands of $11.7m purchase Meydan City. He clearly was in need of the run that day and the extra distance will benefit him so he should go close in this maiden.
Today's Selections:
Ascot, 2.45, Almiqdaad, Win And Place
Newmarket, 6.10, King O' The Gypsies

At Sandown today in the 3.20 Spanish Cygnet could go well in this decent Listed race run over seven furlongs. This filly is by the very fast El Corredor and will relish this fast ground today. Last time out on the Poly at Kempton she ran when defeating Vitoria and she is still improving and should be a decent price today.
Today's Selection:
Sandown, 3.20, Spanish Cygnet, Win

At Lingfield in the 3.30 Johnny Rook could go well, in this race at a decent price after his exploits at Brighton last time out when he disappointed behind Cashed Up and the very unlucky Hand Painted back in fourth. That run is best forgotten as it was a messy affair but the selection has some very solid form in the book notably when finishing second to Orizaba on debut. A reproduction of that form would see him go close today.
Today's Selection:
Lingfield, 3.30, Johnny Rook, Win

At Yarmouth today in the 2.45 Ask Nicely drops in to selling company for the first time and could go very close in this contest. This filly boasts by far the best form on offer today notably when running behind Porthole on debut. A reproduction of that effort would see her take this event run over ten furlongs and in addition most of her rivals look exposed.
Today's Selection:
Yarmouth, 2.45, Ask Nicely, Win

At Yarmouth today in the 2.45 Dazinski could go well at a big price in this maiden. The selection caught the eye behind the talented Weald Park on debut at HQ.He ran in to some trouble but kept on steadily behind the winner and he is entitled to improve for that promising run.
Today's Selection:
Yarmouth, 2.45, Dazinski, Win and Place

i think this is an interesting selection its not one to go silly with though, in Dazinski's only race at Newmarket there hasnt been a winner come out of it yet but the winner has gone on to be beaten only a length in a class 1 event and a few have ran creditably in class 4 races: But this is only a class 6 maiden auction stakes, so he should be thereabouts. good look everyone Brian
