More than £500,000 scooped from £32 bet
Betfair have offered their customers the facility to place Tote bets on the exchange since Feb 28th - and, after little over a month, one has netted a whopping £510,955.60 after landing the Aintree jackpot on Friday.
The Betfair punter only staked £32, and had two £1 lines running onto Boycuk and Oedipe in the final leg 4.55pm, which the latter won at [21.0].
Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: "Since we launched the Tote facility on our site in February, we have been delighted with the take-up from our customers.
"And one in particular will be thrilled we have, especially as we dont take any commission from Tote bets!"
