All the latest news from the world of greyhound racing including red faces at Belle Vue, Kinda Ready's double dream and Eye Onthe Storm's Gymcrack bid...
Belle Vue has conceded it made an error in announcing Shale Dimitar (trap two) as the winner of the first Sky race on Tuesday.
The 7.40pm event over 480m produced a photo-finish with video replays favouring Jimmy The Singer (trap one).
General surprise greeted the announcement that trap two had 'won', and close inspection of the photo-finish print showed a mistake had been made by the stewards.
Belle Vue have confirmed that it will pay win prize-money to connections of both greyhounds.

Kinda Ready, the English Derby champion, has been earmarked for the Irish Derby.
Mark Wallis's dog earned a Dundalk International (July 12) invitation following his Wimbledon heroics, and connections are considering a trip to the Irish border track before a possible crack at the Irish Derby.
Toms The Best remains the only dog to have won both Classics.
Current favourite for the Shelbourne Park race is College Causeway at 12.0, despite defeat in the recent 600 final at the Dublin venue.

Cabra Boss is set to tackle the Sussex Cup at Hove after wrapping up a superb Derby campaign with victory in the Derby Consolation.
Liz and Rab McNair's dog, who grabbed Deanridge Fury late on at Wimbledon on Derby final night, is expected to be suited by the 515m trip at Hove before a possible tilt at the Irish Derby. The dog reached the quarter-finals at Shelbourne Park last year.
Scheduled to defend the title at Shelbourne Park is Shelbourne Aston, after his good showing in the English Derby. However, a positive test returned in an early round at Wimbledon is currently the subject of a GBGB investigation.

Closer to home, the Cock O'The North and Scurry Gold Cup both conclude this week, the latter sprint Classic finding itself with another home, this time at Belle Vue, after Slough, Catford and Perry Barr hosted the race in the modern era.
Post-Wimbledon, the open-race schedule is busy with the puppies-only Gymcrack taking centre-stage with the midweek semis followed by Tuesday's Sky final.
New favourite after Wednesday's semis is likely to be Eye Onthe Storm after his semi-final victory and a trap two draw in the final. However, Droopys Bogart (drawn five in the final) was quickest of the semi winners with a 28.23sec win ahead of Farloe Rocket (28.28) and Eye Onthe Storm (28.34).
Meanwhile, Monmore builds up to its Summer Festival gala with the semis of its Summer Stayers Classic over 630m on Monday, the heats of which were staged this week
Quickest was local hope Buffalo Vieri, although Corrig Vieri was an eye-catching winner of his heat, going well clear before tiring late on.
The draw for next Monday's semis (Bags) is:
First: 1 Buffalo Vieri, 2 Centaur Cappo, 3 Razzmatazz, 4 Droopys Carvalho, 5 Elderberry Khan (w), 6 Rough Domino (w).
Second: 1 Droopys Zach, 2 Corrig Vieri, 3 Dazzle Special, 4 Droopys Arshavin, 5 Romeo In Oregon, 6 Hollyoak Jack (w).
Third: 1 Zorro, 2 Swift Messenger, 3 Barnfield Loreto, 4 Hill Tipoki, 5 Westmead Ace (m), 6 Noelles Rapido (w).
The semi-finals will be supported by heats of competitons over 416 and 480 (bitches and dogs).
