Ed Nicholson's nap won at an SP of 5-1 yesterday (and the danger came second), and his lay suggestion was also successful....can he follow up those successes with another couple today?

Stay Home looks to have a great chance of getting back on the winning trail tonight at Newcastle in their opening contest at 6.28pm.

The May 2008 youngster has bags of scope and a recent run in this grade showed he is well up to winning in A7. Last time he trapped in average fashion but showed a fair deal of early pace before finishing 4th in a time of 30.37. He ran on well that day, and given his draw in trap six, housed next to a couple of fast starters, I can see him getting around unscathed on the outside around the first turns. Shoulld that happen then he would be well poised to make his move down the far side, before striking off the final turn. And given his profile we might get a real value price about him. Take anything over [4.5].

The best race on Newcastle's card tonight is the final one at 9.22pm - but it may be worth waiting for as winning machine trap six, Ballinclare Oak looks to have been given a great chance to record yet another victory.

The April 2007 has won more races than any of his rivals here, and given his sectionals of around 4.72 seconds, he should turn in the lead. If that was the case, then a time of close to 29.10 seconds is possible and if that happens I doubt anything will go quicker.Take anything over [3.0].
