Ed Nicholson points out two greyhounds at Oxford this afternoon that should give Betfair Blog readers a run for their money at fair odds.....

Droopys Finch looks to have been given a decent chance by the grader at Oxford this afternoon, as the former A2 performer lines up in an A5 contest at 3.22pm.

Drawn in trap five, this August 2007 whelp has a nice race make up with dogs coming up fom grade A6 looking the main dangers, and should Droopys Finch get anything loke a clear run on the outside he should take plenty of beating here.

He was having his first race since late June last time when getting hopelessly crowded before running on, but that showed he had lost none of his old sparkle. He must get an early position, but I take him to lie handy before asserting down the back straight. take anything over [3.8].

A little later in the afternoon, I feel that another downgraded greyhound is worth following from the trap five. True Davey (4.08) has been running in A8's but he was downgraded last week and can make most of a favourable trap draw today. Granted he needs to get away to one of his better starts - but if able to do so should have too much pace for his rivals. Take anything over [4.5]
