How it works
22a Soccer - Asian Handicaps

Handicaps given are listed as either whole or half-goals, e.g. 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 goals. But there can't be half a goal you argue - that's exactly the point! It eliminates the draw.
With a whole number though, the chance of a tied market is still there. The handicap is applied after the game to determine the winner of the bet. If the result is still level, then the market is a 'push' - all bets on the relevant handicap are declared void and stakes are refunded.
Some of the handicaps:
Draw No Bet - a zero or level handicap. If the game is drawn, your bets are refunded. Instead of backing your team to win at 2.6 but having to risk the draw, you could take 2.0 Draw No Bet and not have to worry about the stalemate.
+0.5 - you are betting on this selection not to lose (the same as laying the opposing team). You now have the draw on your side.
-0.5 - the same as betting on this team to win (as per the match odds market). If you've backed them, your team must win to get paid out.
+/-1 - the one-goal handicap. If the favourite wins by one goal, then all bets are declared void and refunded.
