I started the tournament slowly and it looked like I would make the first break for the second week running but alas it was not to be. I held AJ in my big blind in the last hand before the break and the button put in a big raise, I decided to shove all my chips in and he insta-called with QQ. No Ace arrived and I finished 462nd.
458 players did make it to the first break though with AK1966 leading the way having built up his 2012 starting stack to 19k.
During the following hour players were still falling to the wayside quickly and by the time the second break arrived the field had now been trimmed down to 145 players. mogosa now headed the field with 43k followed by olaprasira on 39k.

The third hour saw another 91 players retire to the rail and when the third break was upon us 54 players were now left fighting for those two precious packages. Grizzlaw_x was now our chip leader with 99k followed by mcfool on 91k and muscle_x1 on 90k.
As the prizes were getting closer the play understandably tightened up somewhat. At the fourth break we were left with 21 players. muscle_x1 had now taken over the lead with 221k, mogosa on 215k and siachourinio on 200k were just behind with the next best on only 115k. The blinds were now a massive 2k/4k with a 400 running ante.
40 minutes later we arrived at the final table and the standings were as follows:-

In only the second hand of the final table we lost kingpdog when he ran his AK into mogosa who was holding AA leaving mogosa with a 425k stack. JONKARA1 then eliminated tickytock1 AcJh v QcJc, tickytock must have thought it was his day when he hit a flush on the turn but another club on the river gave JONKARA the bigger flush!
muscle_x1 then KO'd Eachie, Eachie called muscle's shove on a QT4 flop holding KJ, muscle showed Q4 and with no Ace or 9 on the turn or river Eachie left us in eighth. Owleyes2222 then trebled up whilst eliminating siachourinio and taking a chunk off muscle. He got all his chips in pre flop with KK and found himself up against KJ and 88, his KK held up and threw Owleyes into contention just as the fifth break arrived.

Play restarted with the blinds 5k/10k and a 1k running ante, tommer755 doubled up off Owleyes when his 56 rivered a straight against AQ on a Queen high board. A couple of hands later _Bobby Jean_ finished Owleyes off AQ v J8, the two queens on the flop sealing Owleyes' fate! JONKARA then doubled up off tommer, on a KT8 flop tommer called JONKARA's shove with QQ but JONKARA held KT. mogosa then finished off tommer with A5 v AT on an A52 flop and moved onto 687k.
In two successive hands muscle crippled and then KO'd Bobby Jean, he took most of his chips AK v 97 and then completed the job K8 v T2. We were now down to just three players and it was very evenly matched with the stacks as follows:- muscle_x1 660k, mogosa 572k and JONKARA on 520k.
Over the next fifteen minutes chips went backward and forwards with muscle winning some big pots and then turning into table bully shoving his chips in pre flop at every available opportunity. It was actually the two shorter stacks confronting each other that brought the action to an end. JONKARA condemned mogosa to third place A6 v AQ with a 6 on the turn sealing poor mogosa's fate!
