It's a good job I'm not just reporting on my progress in the tournament or it would be a very short article. I didn't even manage to last 20 minutes after I managed to run KQ into AA on a K43 flop and with no King or Queen on the turn or river I was condemned to watching from the rail.
By the time the first break had been reached the field had thinned down to 195 players with Oliinyk making the early running on 18k chips and several players not far behind on around the 15k mark.
In the next hour we lost over two thirds of the remaining players and by the second break there were only 60 players left. Tomari7 was leading by a country mile on 46k with the second place Alphasonikk trailing on 29k. Alphasonikk was in third on 25k.

When the third break arrived the field had been halved again and only 30 players were still in contention for the two Vegas packages. mtvdeuem had now taken over the lead with 46k with tomari7 just 2k further back with 44k and 8 other players over the 30k barrier.
Three minutes before the third break the final table was reached with the blinds at a lofty 1500/3000 and a 150 running ante. The final tablists were as follows:-

In the three minutes before the break Pepper Army knocked out _ACE_88 and carried his stack up to the chip lead with 140k. Shortly after the break MR CLUMSY took out VegasGa62 but not before she had split a pot with him KK v AA but with the board showing 234A5.
Mr_Smoke27 and Pepper Army now started to dictate the table and were causing carnage. Mr_Smoke eliminated Chet757 and mtvdeuem. Pepper Army matched him by eliminating Gueti Hose and CIM72. With 4 left the chip stacks were Mr_Smoke 300k, Pepper Army250k with both MR CLUMSY and Alphasonikk on 75k.

Alphasonikk then started his move for victory and doubled up off Mr_Smoke who in turn took it out on MR CLUMSY by eliminating him two hands later AK v AJ on an amazing AKK flop. Alphasonikk then completely took over the game, he doubled up through Pepper Army by busting his AA with 56. Within a couple of hands he had doubled up again this time off Mr_Smoke and left the other two sweating on less than 100k.
Then came the final fatal blow as Mr_Smoke shoved with QT and was called by Alphasonikk with 99. No Queens or Tens came on the board and we had our two Vegas package winners.
