Huntingdon, 14:15 - Back Castanea Breeze @ 5/23.50
Lucy Wadham-trained Castanea Breeze wears first-time blinkers as he attempts to return to the winners' enclosure following a string of second-placed efforts. His sole career start to date came at Market Rasen in December when sporting first-time cheekpieces, and the switch in headgear could spark enough improvement to see him go one better than in recent efforts.
The six-year-old, who once finished third to Mydaddypaddy in a bumper at this track, is 12lb higher than his last winning mark but could still be on an upward trajectory making only his eighth start over obstacles. The form of his previous win has been franked by a couple of horses in behind, including runner-up Harry Bright, and there's some substance to the form of his defeats too.
With form at the course, the scope for further improvement and the addition of new headgear, Castanea Breeze can continue his recent good run of form and put in another competitive effort, capable of posing a threat under the in-form Tom Cannon, who has an all-time strike-rate of 20 percent for the trainer as well as a decent record at the track.

Huntingdon, 15:15 - Back Kittys Glance @ 4/15.00
Making her first appearance following wind surgery and equipped with a first-time hood, Kittys Glance could improve plenty for her hurdling debut at this track and should be able to fare better. She represents in-form trainer Alan King, whose horses have been running well of late and who has a good record in maiden hurdles and novice events so far this term.
The five-year-old daughter of Passing Glance finished third on debut in a bumper at the track, behind only Ride Like A Girl and the sadly ill-fated Amber Waves, both of whom performed well subsequently. She finished ahead of Shotgun Shirley that day, a filly that went on to finish second in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham to Celestial Tune.
Kittys Glance could only manage eighth in the aforementioned Listed bumper, and failed to make any impression when last seen over obstacles, however, this is only her fourth start, she's related to a number of winners including A Pai De Nom and West Cork, and there could be plenty of further improvement to come from her as she steps up in trip. The addition of a hood should help her settle better than her latest outing, and she could take a significant step forward for the experience.

Huntingdon, 15:45 - Back Wandering Ego @ 4/61.67
Olly Murphy-trained Wandering Ego holds leading claims in this novice event having shown snippets of excellent form in five starts over obstacles to date, as well as winning a bumper and previously being narrowly denied at this track.
He shed his maiden tag as hurdler in convincing fashion when beating Park Talk by 14-lengths last autumn, before finishing a five-and-three-quarter-length fourth to Old Park Star.
In recent runs, the six-year-old finished third to WIlliethebuilder on handicap debut before finding only one rival too good at Taunton in his latest start.
Dropping back down to the minimum trip on a sounder surface should suit the son of Order Of St George, who finished third to El Cairos on Rules debut at Newbury last season. He has enough ability, as well as the benefit of experience, to put in a bold bid under champion jockey Sean Bowen.

Hereford, 16:30 - Back Castelfort @ 5/23.50
Jane Williams has saddled two winners, a third, and a fourth from four runners at Hereford so far this term. She's represented by Castelfort in this extended 2m3f contest, a gelding that is only 2lb higher than his previous winning mark.
Although beaten when the joint 3/14.00 favourite at Chepstow in his latest run, Castelfort could be worth keeping the faith in. He drops in class over a longer distance this time around, and, having shown good form behind Andashan earlier in the campaign from a higher mark, could be ready to strike again.
The six-year-old is on a workable mark and could be suited by this challenge as he seeks a fourth career win, one to note under Ciaran Gethings.

Kempton, 18:30 - Back Mount Athos @ 11/43.75
Course specialist Mount Athos is bidding for a fourth successive win in this race from a 2lb lower mark than when beating Local Hero in last year's renewal. He has form figures of 111117 at the track, his latest run a disappointing effort behind The Lost King but perhaps a run worth forgiving considering his previous form here and the fact he had placed twice at Listed level in respective Deauville contests in previous runs.
A talented performer on his day with a clear liking for this track, there's plenty in favour of Mount Athos as he bids to improve on his latest outing in familiar surroundings. He's on a workable mark, has plenty of proven form in this particular race, and should be capable of posing a serious threat under James Doyle, who has an all-time strike-rate of 34 percent on the all-weather for James Tate.

Kempton, 19:30 - Back Media Shooter E/W @ 8/19.00
Media Shooter has been out of form since joining James Owen from the Karl Burke yard, but he's now 8lb below his last winning mark and has course-and-distance winning form in his favour, too.
Making each-way appeal at the weights, Media Shooter could be able to fare better than in recent runs having failed to get involved lately. A visor is tried this time around, however, which could spark some improvement, replacing the cheekpieces applied in his latest run.
It's too early to give up on a gelding that has shown to possess plenty of ability on a going day in higher class company from a higher mark. He could be worth keeping the faith in and warrants consideration in familiar surroundings.
