Lady Princess was backed at long odds when making her first start for Denis Hogan at Bellewstown last month, and she showed much improved form to get off the mark, leaving her debut form for Jarlath Fahey well behind. She has been handed a lenient opening handicap mark and may not have shown everything she has to offer, so is fancied to strike again.

Baron Samedi - 15:50 Navan

Baron Samedi got off the mark at Cork last month, despite still looking a little rough around the edges, and he showed much improved form to follow up at Down Royal last week, slamming his rivals by 13 rivals. He made smooth headway before storming clear inside the final furlong, proving in a completely different league to his rivals, so a 6 lb penalty should not stop this highly progressive three-year-old following up. He is 9 lb clear on Timeform ratings.

Sienna Lady - 16:20 Navan

Most of these arrive out of form, but Sienna Lady, an unexposed three-year-old filly, posted her best effort yet when runner-up at Dundalk last time and could still have more to offer. She improved on her maiden efforts when fourth at Limerick on her handicap debut in July and then took another step forward at Dundalk last month, leading inside the final furlong and only overhauled close home. Her progressive profile makes her stand out in this field.
