Our racing expert has one selection on Tuesday

"The winner won again over C&D next time and is now rated 15lb higher than she was that day while the third, fifth and sixth all won next time too."

Rhys Williams has analysed Tuesday's racing and has a sole selection at Salisbury.

Good run over C&D two starts ago

Salisbury 14:15: Devon Envoy 1pt win 8/1

It's no surprise that there's been early market support for Blue Collar Lad now down in trip and Thank The Lord on handicap and stable debut but it's a horse who was well beaten last time who appeals at the current prices.

Devon Envoy finished last of eleven at the track last time. That was over five furlongs and he never looked comfortable at any stage over the sharper trip, with the saddle slipping also not helping his cause.

Prior to that he ran well over today's C&D when finishing second behind Makarova. He raced keenly to take the lead early on and had all of the rival jockeys pushing along two furlongs out while he was still travelling well. Devon Envoy looked a bit awkward when initially coming under pressure but he still held the advantage until being headed half a furlong out and was beaten 1¼ lengths.

The winner won again over C&D next time and is now rated 15lb higher than she was that day while the third, fifth and sixth all won next time too to give the form as a strong look.

Devon Envoy was inconsistent as a two-year-old and it is a bit worrying just how poorly he ran last time but he's only off a 2lb higher mark than when finishing second two starts ago and back over a more suitable distance I think he has the opportunity to build on that. Any 7/1 or bigger appeals.
