Goodwood Nap - 15:50 - Back Lucky Fifteen
Three-year-old Lucky Fifteen has been improving at a rate of knots this summer for Ralph Beckett's in-form stable and he could still be ahead of his mark in his bid to complete a four-timer in handicaps.
That winning run began on the all-weather at Chelmsford in June, before he readily followed up under a penalty over this course and distance eight days later, while his third win came at Ffos Las early last month when he was again well on top at the finish, having a length and a half to spare over Intricacy who won his next start.
With further improvement to come, a 7 lb rise in the weights shouldn't be enough to stop Lucky Fifteen winning again.
Goodwood Next Best - 14:40 - Back Aldaary
The Celebration Mile represents a drop in class for William Haggas's very smart gelding Aldaary who was last seen in the Sussex Stakes over the same course and distance taking on the likes of Paddington and Inspiral.
While Aldaary hasn't been at his best this year after winning a listed race at Haydock on his only start last term, another Group 1 entry in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes suggests connections still consider him able to make an impact in the highest company.
His best effort this year came when runner-up to the high-class Master of The Seas in the Summer Mile at Ascot last month, and he's capable of going one better here if putting it all together.
Goodwood Each-Way - 16:25 - Back Lihou
Lord Riddiford gained a fourth win over Goodwood's sharp five furlongs earlier in the month and will no doubt be a popular choice to bag another victory here but there could be some each-way value in Lihou who was back in fifth on that occasion.
He wasn't seen to best effect though, as he got shuffled back at a crucial stage in the race, but otherwise Lihou is thriving on a busy campaign for David Evans, winning four races by the end of April and going very close to winning another when beaten a short head by Vintage Clarets at Chester in June.
James Doyle partners Lihou for the first time this year having also been aboard for his only success in 2022.
