Race 8 21:40 Belmont Park - My Prankster

I am going to side with My Prankster in this mouthwatering Grade 1 on the main track.

This colt was most impressive on debut when beating Seal Beach at the Spa in August. He made most of the running, and drew well clear inside the final furlong for a double digit score. This was one of the best two-year-old performances at Saratoga in my opinion.

Trainer Todd Pletcher throws him in at the deep end, but is open to significant improvement. I think he has a bright future ahead of him, and a victory here would probably send him to the top of the market in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Del Mar next month. Stablemate Wit is the likely favourite, but disappointed on his latest start. BSP is recommended.

Race 10 22:45 Belmont Park - Art Collector

I am going to take a chance with Art Collector in this fascinating Grade 1 on the main track.

This talented performer beat Sleepy Eyes Todd in the Grade 2 Charlestown Classic in August. He was caught in a speed duel, but found plenty on the home turn and was well on top at the finish.

He has some rock solid form in the book, including a victory over Swiss Skydiver in the Blue Grass Stakes last year. This is a very competitive race, but appears to have found a new lease of life under the care of Bill Mott. He will be a decent price so BSP is recommended.
