Expert racing tipster Rhys Williams has had three winners from his last four selections and is back today with a sole selection at Kilbeggan.

Kilbeggan - 15:27 - Back Lookondebrightside

Lookondebrightside was well beaten when coming down at Ffos Las on his most recent start but I think he's capable of faring better than that this afternoon in a weak maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan.

He only showed minor ability in points but ran well at Killarney on his rules debut for Peter Fahey when finishing third behind Arabian King.

He struggled next time in a good maiden hurdle at Galway before being dropped in trip and running better at Killarney over just two miles. He raced on the inside a little further back than midfield for the first circuit before being switched out to make headway turning out of the back straight. Nudged along approaching three out, he couldn't quite go with the leaders and faded to finish eighth in a race where three of the first four home are now rated in the 120s.

Lookondebrightside built on that when finishing second at Listowel on his final start for Peter Fahey where he was never a danger to John Cannon but finished a clear second.

He joined Dai Rees following that run but only had one outing for that yard, when falling at Ffos Las, and was back out of the yard by mid-November.

Lookondebrightside is now back with Peter Fahey and returns from a long break which suggests he may have had a problem since the fall. It may also be that he's had a wind op since his last run as he wore a tongue tie that day having not previously worn one in Ireland. If that is the case, he could improve on what he showed when previously with Fahey as he wasn't too strong off the bridle in his last two runs for that owner so his wind might have been a slight issue back then.

It may be that he's not as good as he was or that he will once again not find as much late on as seems likely but in a race of this quality I think he's overpriced and any double-figure prices appeal.
