Last week we identified Matt Fitzpatrick at 20/121.00 as an in-form player to have onside and the Englishman obliged by winning the RBC Heritage. Now, for the Zurich Classic, we highlight three players with strong course form at this week's venue.
Course Form Picks
Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak
Griffin teams up with Novak at this week's tournament just as they did a year ago when the pair won here. Griffin had previoulsy missed two cuts on the course, while Novak was 23rd two years ago. When it comes to current form, Griffin finished 33rd last week and at the Masters, while Novak missed the cut at Augusta but made the top 20 at Harbour Town. Both will need to up their game if they are to retain their trophy in New Orleans but we know they can play the course.
Karl Vilips and Michael Thorbjornsen
This pair were tied for fourth place last year when both made their course debuts and that display indicates they could contend again in 2026. Thorbjornsen will need to rediscover the form that saw him finish third at the Phoenix Open this year while Australian Vilips has not been inside a top 10 in 2026 so needs to improve. They are a selection for Dave Tindall, however, which is a big tick in the box.
Brooks Koepka and Shane Lowry
Teaming up with Rory McIlroy, Lowry finished 12th last year having formed a winning team in 2024. Following an indfferent month or so, the Irishman needs to hit the heights he reached finishing tied for second at the Cognizant Classic.
