Matt Fitpatrick will arrive at Quail Hollow in the best form of his entire career. The Englishman started his golden run of form with a second place finish at the Players Championship in March. He followed that up with a win at the Valspar Championship and following a poor opening round at the US Masters he recovered well to finish inside the top 20. His two subsequent appearances have both yielded victories, first beating Scottish Scheffler in a play-off at the RBC Heritage and then just two weeks ago teaming up with his brother Alex to win the Zurich Classic.

Ben Griffin @ 30/131.00

There are lots of in-form players turning up in North Carolina this week but our second pick will go to Ben Griffin, who could be about to turn his season around with a good run of form. After a couple of missed cuts the American finished in and around the top 30 for three consecutive tournaments before finishing 10th at the Zurich Classic a fortnight ago. And just last week, at a high-class Cadillac Championship, Griffin finished solo third behind two of the top three ranked players in the world.

Two-time major winner Xander Schauffele wasn't anywhere near on his best form when finishing 28th at Quail Hollow 12 months ago (at the US PGA Championship) so we can mark that up as a respectable effort. He arrives in Charlotte this week close to being back to his best, so the fact that he finished 14th here in 2021 before finishing runner-up at Quail Hollow in both 2022 ad 2023 in this tournament means he has to be high on the shortlist this week.

Harris English @ 30/131.00

Harris English is another player who seemingly likes Quail Hollow. The 36-year-old American has made the cut here in all of his last six appearances with a third-place finish being his best performance at the venue in this particular tournament. However he went one better here last year when Quail Hollow staged the US PGA Championship, finishing runner-up to world number one Scottie Scheffler.
