Current Form Picks
The American made the top 10 last week and prior to that was in the top 20 at the US Open. It's just over a month since he finished T3 at the Charles Schwab Challenge and, this clutch of recent form, combined with a fifth-place finish here two years ago, makes him a player of interest this week.
A former-winner here (in 2022), Poston was T4 at the US Open and, a fortnight before, triumphed at the Memorial Tournament. Last week's 69th may have been a blip.
This will be the South Korean's first appearance since his third-place finish at the US Open and, with a top 15 prior to that at the Canadian Open, he will be looking to extend his impressive run of form.
Course Form Picks
A two-time runner-up here, albeit with a missed cut sandwiched between, the Argentine has an affinity for the course. Top-20 finishes at the Canadian Open and US Open mean he arrives in decent nick.
The 46-year-old is not playing well but factor in that he won this tournament in 2021, was fifth last year and has only finished outside the top 10 in one of his five appearances this decade and you wonder if he might be worth a nibble at the price.
The defending champion went to college in Illinois and his knowledge of the state may have been a factor in his victory last year. So far, he has endured a difficult 2026 but returning to the scene of his win could prompt an upturn.
