Genesis Championship weather forecast for Thursday
It's going to be a very cool start with temperatures in the low 40s before they rise to the mid-50s after lunch.
Wind speeds are light although it could gust a little around 9am.
Tee-times (three-balls from the 1st and 10th) start at 07:00 local, while the final groups head out at 12:55.
Overall, a later tee-time looks preferable.
Thomas Detry finished seventh on his course debut 12 months ago, sitting 11th after round one via a 68.
Uncertain of his LIV future, he's spent the last month trying to secure his DP World Tour card and the Belgian has just about wrapped it up after top 10s in both the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and the DP World India Championship.
In India, Detry was quick to find his stride and ended the rain-hit first round in tied second place thanks to a 67.
Fourth after round one at this summer's Open Championship, Detry has what looks the preferred later tee-time as he heads off from the 1st at 11:45.
That combination of course form, current form and FRL form makes him a bet at 33/134.00 (1/4 Odds, 5 Places).

Joel Girrbach has posted recent top 10s at the Open de Espana, European Masters and Danish Golf Championship so the Swiss golfer is in fine form.
And in the last two weeks, he's flexed his muscles early, sitting in the top three at halfway in both the Open de Espana and DP World India Championship. He finished seventh in the former and 13th in the latter.
Girrbach teed it up in this event last year and finished a solid 21st, his best round coming on day one as a 68 put him 11th.
At 80th in the Race to Dubai, he's safe for next season so this week will be about trying to get into the playoffs.
Another afternoon starter (12:15 from the 10th), he's worth a go at 50s.

I'll also include a local Korean and the one that jumps out is Minhyuk Song.
For starters, he's been in fine form on his home Korean Tour and, adding in the Asian Tour's Taiwan Masters, he has three top sevens and a further three top 20s in his last six starts.
His FRL positions are particularly eyecatching, the last four showing 7-5-1-6 (the '1' coming in the KJ Choi Invitational after a 65).
Clearly, the merit of those could be in doubt given that they came in much weaker fields but if we rewind to this event last year when the DP World Tour raiders were again in town, Song was the halfway leader.
He's another later starter here (12:15 from the 1st) so should get the better weather.
