Chris Tremlett is a professional cricket player who was born in Southampton, England in 1981.

He is a right-arm fast bowler who has featured for England in Test and One-Day cricket.
The highlight of his international career so far came in Australia when he was part of England's successful Ashes Tour in 2010/2011. Famously, he took the final wicket which sealed the series.
Tremlett made his County debut in 2000 when signing for Hampshire, where he was born. His performances in domestic cricket saw him receive the NBC Denis Compton Award in 2000 and 2001 for the side.
While playing for his home county, he was called up to the England One-Day squad in June, 2005 for the home series against Bangladesh. He made his debut at Trent Bridge where he took 4-32 in the game. He was on a hat-trick in that match but, despite his third delivery hitting the stumps while Mohammad Ashraful was batting, the bails did not come off.
After appearing at number 12 for England in a number of Test matches, including during the 2005 successful Ashes series, Tremlett got his break in the side against India on July 19, 2006 after regular bowler Matthew Hoggard picked up an injury in the lead-up to the match. He finished up with four wickets in the First Test but was unable to score with the bat in either of his two innings.
Although he did not play in either of the opening two Tests in England's Ashes tour of Australia in 2010/2011, the bowler came into the side for the Third Test at the WACA. He was responsible for three of the hosts' wickets in the first innings, while he bettered his figures in the second innings with 5-87. Despite the Hampshire bowler's efforts, they lost the match by 267 runs after some poor batting.
Tremlett retained his spot for the Fourth Test when he helped himself to 4-26 on the opening day as Australia were bowled out for just 96. It was also his wicket later in the match that sealed the victory for England and ensured they won the series.
The best figures of the right arm bowler's career so far came against Sri Lanka in the summer of 2011. He finished with 6/48, which contributed in the visitors falling for 184. The Hampshire man finished that series as the leading wicket-taker, with 15 to his name.
