How to use Desktop browser to place a bet
Placing a bet on the Mobile app
From the home page on the Betfair Exchange app there are three ways to navigate to the event that you want to bet on.
Along the top row is a number of current and popular events, like Football, Horse Racing, Greyhounds, Politics etc, and you can simply touch on one of these to go to that particular page.
Further down the home page there is a Quick Links menu which you can scroll up and down to see if the event that you wish to bet on is listed.
Finally, you can tap on the A-Z Menu from the bottom row of options. This will bring up an alphabetical list of every sport or event that Betfair have markets available to bet on.
You can see the location of the top row, Quick Links menu and bottom row of optons on the home page in the below image.
Once you have selected the sport that you wish to bet on you will see a list of options that will help you find the event that you're looking for.
Below we are looking for a Premier League match in Football, so we would simply touch on the English Premier League tab in the Top Competitions list.
We are going to place a £10 win single on Liverpool at 3.211/5 in the Match Odds market in the game against Arsenal.
To do this, once you've selected the Arsenal v Liverpool game from the Premier League menu, touch the blue 3.2 odds that you can see in the 'Liverpool' row and 'Back' column under Match Odds (see below image).

Once you have done this, your betslip will appear (see below image). From here you just need to enter 10 in the STAKE box using the number pad (or type it in manually) and then click on Place bet to confirm your bet.
Notice that because £10 on a 3.211/5 means you would profit by £22 should Liverpool win (£32 winnings minus your £10 stake) that under Liverpool it displays your potential profit in green (in this case £22), while under Arsenal and Draw it shows your potential loss (in this case £10).

Once you have selected the sport you wish to bet on you will be presented with a screen with more options that will enable you to easily find the event that you're looking for.
Below we are looking for a Premier League match in Football, which you can navigate to by clicking on the English Premier League option in the Top Competitions list under Football.
Should the competition you're looking for not be shown, scroll down to the very bottom of the Football menu on the left hand side and you will see an optional called All Football. From there you will be able to find the competition that you require.
