What is Betfair Tipster?

It is an automated betting app powered by the Betfair Exchange.

It lets you choose which tipster you always want to copy.

When your chosen tipster posts a recommendation, the app will automatically place the bet for you.

The Betfair Tipster app is easy to use and you are in control of which tipsters you copy and how much you bet.

You can use Betfair Tipster to automatically copy bets recommended by selected Betting.Betfair tipsters.

You can copy more than one tipster - Betting.Betfair boasts a strong team of tipsters so it makes sense to give yourself more options for success.

How to use Betfair Tipster

Download Betfair Tipster from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play store (Android) via the following links:

 How do I register for Betfair Tipster?

When first using Betfair Tipster, you must register a Betfair Tipster profile by following the below instructions:

1. Open the app and click on the "First time using Tipster?..."link below the Log in button
2. Enter your details into the registration form and take a note of your email and password details
3. Once complete you'll be returned to the login screen and should login with the email and password you've just registered (not your Betfair username and password)

 How do I link my Betfair Account to Betfair Tipster

1. Once logged in, you'll be directed to the below Spotlight screen
2. Click on Account > Link an account
3. You'll be then directed to the Betfair login screen
4. Click Login and then, Agree on the following screen.
5. When prompted, select "Copy bets from other tipsters"

Please note:  We are currently not accepting new Tipster accounts.

Selecting Provide tips for other to copy will not allow to Copy bets from tipsters & you will not be able to be followed by Copiers.

How do I Copy a Tipster?

1. From the Discover Leaderboard, select the Tipster you'd like to Copy
2. Click Copy
3. Set your Fixed stake size (£) per copied bet
4. Read the Betfair Tipster - Terms & Conditions
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Agree and Copy

Once you've started Copying a Tipster, your Betfair account will copy ALL of their tips until you opt to Uncopy.

How do I Uncopy a Tipster?

1. Select the Account tab at the bottom of the Betfair Tipster app
2. Under Tipsters select the Tipster you'd like to stop copying
3. On the Tipsters dashboard, Click Uncopy
4. On the Confirmation screen select Yes

How do I edit the stake size for the Tipster/s I'm copying?

1. Select the Account tab at the bottom of the Betfair Tipster app
2. Under Tipsters select the Tipster you'd like to stop copying
3. On the Tipsters dashboard, Click Edit Copy
4. Update the Fixed stake size to your required stake
5. Click Update
6. Click Yes to confirm your changes

How can I view my Bets placed via Betfair Tipster?

• You can view place bets via the Copies tab at the bottom of your Copier profile screen
• Within the Bets screen you can view placed, settled and any missed bets.

How do I log out of Betfair Tipster?

• To log out of Betfair Tipster click on
• Please be aware that when you log out, Betfair Tipster will continue to Copy bets of any existing Tipster that you've opted to Copy.
• If you wish to stop Copying Tipster you must Uncopy a Tipster.

How do I unlink my Betfair Tipster account?

1. Within the Betfair Tipster app, click on Account > Settings
2. Select Unlink Betfair account.
3. Click Yes, on the confirmation screen.
4. Your Betfair account will then be unlinked from the Betfair Tipster app and will need to be relinked if you wish to continue using the app.

Please note, you can also unlink your Betfair account via the Betfair website via My Account > Account Details > Security Setting > Third Party Permissions > Edit > Betfair Tipster

How do I delete my Betfair Tipster app profile?

1. First, unlink your Betfair account by following the How do I unlink my Betfair Tipster account?
2. Once unlinked (or if not already linked), click on Settings
3. Click on Delete Profile
4. Click Yes to confirm profile deletion.

How are Copied Bets Placed?

All copied bets will be placed using Best execution to get matched at the best available odds on the Exchange.  However, Betfair does not provide any guarantee that the price matched will be that published by the Tipster.  The price matched may be worse or better than the published price, due to market movements.

Why do I have Missed Bets?

Missed bets may occur if there is insufficient liquidity available on the Betfair Exchange to match copied bets at the requested price.  Any 'Missed bets' will be shown in the Copies section of the Betfair Tipster app within the Missed tab.

How do I report issues with Betfair Tipster?
