Younever Cantell, who thrives on his racing, landed a number of decent wagers when capturing his third Open race from his last four outings in the Romford Stadium Standard on Friday.
Briskly out of the machine from trap five, Jim Reynolds' October 04 whelp proceeded to make all the running to score impressively by two-and-a-half lengths from John Mullins' pup Blonde Buster in a quick 24:47.
That performance was made to look even more commendable since the in-form son of Borna Pilot's time was the fastest winning effort of all the seven races that were staged on the night over the standard 400-metres journey.
Having started his career as a modest handicapper at Shawfield, Jim Reynolds' progressive greyhound has risen quickly through the grades since racing in A4 company at the London Road circuit last June.
The winner of 13 races from 37 lifetime starts, the likeable Younever Cantell, who still seems to be improving, is expected to win more races sooner rather than later.
