BROOKSIDE RICHIE (Trap 2) will take all the beating in the first of the Kent Derby Semis at 19:56. The fantastic juvenile doesn't know how to run a bad race and didn't see another rival as he stormed to victory in the Romford Puppy Cup last month. He clocked another brilliant time when making all in his heat here last week, seeing off Antigua Storm, and it will be very surprising if he's not lining up in next week's final.

ANTIGUA STORM (Trap 2) should be joining him and is hard to get away from in his semi at 20:38. The Yarmouth Derby winner valiantly gave chase to Brookside Richie last week and pulled well clear of the third. He'll have too many guns for Hilight Arkle tonight.

WILBURY STAR (Trap 6) can get a deserved change of luck in the 20:54 sprint. She's been doing little wrong in defeat since returning to action, filling the runner-up spot on three occasions, and can go one better in this company.
