Tangled Web went off too hard last time and ended up well beaten, but today's pace scenario is much more favourable and he should prove hard to beat. The Great Loudini has been performing respectably of late and appeals as next best, while Malio's is another to factor in.
#7 My Cowboy - Tampa Bay R6 (18:45)
A C&D winner in January, My Cowboy has run creditably to be placed on his two outings since and should put up another bold show. Rock The Park may be the one to give the selection most to do, while Campaign Spy can't entirely be ruled out if things either.
#8 Avie's Mesa - Penn National R2 (22:26)
Avie's Mesa showed improved form returning from a short break last time (also first start as a gelding) and a small step forward from that puts him right in the mix. Sparty should find the return to this trip a good move and is likely to be in the mix too. Eyes On Me also commands respect.
