Gun It is interesting returning to a one-turn race for the first time since a dominant win at Churchill Downs late last year. He produced some good placed efforts in Graded company after that and is taken to get back on track after a few below-par runs. Tiz He the One makes appeal on barn debut and looks the one for the runner-up spot.
#11 Microsecond - Saratoga R7 (21:12)
Microsecond is getting better with experience and produced the pick of his efforts to date when second on dirt at Belmont Park on his latest outing. Todd Pletcher's gelding does need to prove he can be equally effective on turf, but his pedigree gives a little hope in that regard, and he looks worth backing in an open contest.
#3 Liveyourbeastlife - Saratoga R8 (21:46)
While the hat-trick seeking Lil Commissioner is sure to be popular, a value alternative may well be Liveyourbeastlife. Third in fast time over this C&D on his most recent outing, a reproduction of that effort will put him right in the shake-up. Candy Tycoon hails from one of the very top stables and appeals as best of the remainder.
