Wolverhampton maiden winner Aabir shaped well on his handicap debut when finishing second at Beverley and then was much better than the bare result at Doncaster last time, hampered at a crucial stage in a race run at a steady gallop. An expensively-purchased, well-bred sort, Aabir looks to be on a handy mark and is capable of showing better form.
