The progressive Revision can pass another test here and make it four wins from five starts in handicaps this year. Revision made little impact in a trio of maidens last season, but he has been a different proposition since tackling handicaps, and still looks to be on the upgrade based on his latest success at Kempton recently. That looked a good contest on paper but Revision ran out an authoritative winner, doing well to make up so much ground against well-handicapped rivals, and he can stay a step ahead of the handicapper for a while yet.
Redcar 15:55 - Mister Zoff
There are a few unexposed, potentially well-handicapped types in here, but Mister Zoff is of particular interest having been dropped 2 lb for what looked an encouraging effort on his handicap bow at Musselburgh. Mister Zoff was gambled on at Musselburgh but he wasn't seen to best effect under a patient ride, seemingly needing the emphasis more on stamina. This step up in trip ought to suit and Mister Zoff is capable of doing better.
Kempton 20:25 - Osipova
Osipova showed improved form when taking a maiden at this course (12f) last month and she is worth forgiving a disappointing performance on handicap debut at Goodwood last time, the soft ground offering a valid excuse. She deserves another chance back on this surface and, still lightly raced and in excellent hands, she has plenty to recommend her.
