Yarmouth 16:05 - Flying Hammer
The lightly-raced Flying Hammer did well to prevail last time having conceded first run, and he appears to be on a sharp upward curve at present. A well-bred sort in excellent hands, it would be a surprise were the improving Flying Hammer not to prove far superior to his current handicap mark of 85, and he should prove difficult to beat.
Beverley 16:15 - Mezajy
Mezajy arguably should have won at Yarmouth last time having been caught further back than ideal, but he can gain compensation here. Mezajy produced his best effort yet to finish runner-up at Yarmouth, but he shaped as if he could have done even better under more favourable circumstances, forced to switch at a crucial stage and never able to land a blow on the winner who secured first run. This step up in trip ought to suit Ed Walker's charge and he can register a deserved success.
Yarmouth 17:05 - Stake Acclaim
Stake Acclaim bounced back to winning ways when scoring in good style at Newmarket last time, and he can follow up here, providing his in-form trainer with another winner. The form of that win is not working out particularly well but Stake Acclaim won with a bit in hand, remains relatively lightly-raced for a sprinter, and is capable of better yet.
