Nottingham 16:10 - Raw Impulse
Raw Impulse built on debut promise when landing a soft-ground C&D maiden in May, and he has shown improved form since, putting up three placed efforts. Raw Impulse shaped particularly well at Salisbury last time, matching his best form whilst leaving the impression that the race didn't get to the bottom of him, and, with the scope to do better still, he's clearly one to take seriously here.
Nottingham 16:45 - Fredricka
Fredricka arguably did well to finish as close as she did when coming home sixth in an ultra-competitive 24-runner handicap at Ayr last month, initially racing in the stand-side group while most of the action was unfolding down the centre of the course, and she can return to winning ways here. Like many horses, Fredricka has improved for the switch to the Ivan Furtado yard and she could yet have more to offer.
Kempton 20:15 - Milady
The promising Milady still looks favourably handicapped and, likely to improve for the step up to seven furlongs, she ought to take the beating. A ready winner of a Lingfield maiden on her second start, Milady shaped well in a competitive race on her handicap bow at Ascot, and she again ran well at Chelmsford last time, staying on strongly in the style of a horse who will benefit from a step up to seven furlongs.
