Our fist bet of the day comes from Sandown, and several of the fillies in the listed event at 15:05 come into today's race on the back of a maiden success. Henry Candy's Alonsoa was probably the most impressive of these and has been the subject of glowing reports from her trainer. The horse who finished second on that occasion has since come out and won well so the form looks solid and with the chance of a stronger pace likely to suit, she gets the vote. Sleepy Dust and Pack Together also won nicely on debut, but those were lowlier contests and the form has not worked out as well.
We remain in Esher for the next contest under consideration, where Alex Vino and Carnevale could hold the key to the ten-furong handicap(15:40). The former has not been seen since running fourth on his handicap debut at the beginning of April where he appeared to be undone by a lack of fitness, and although he should prove better than his current mark the fact he has been off for 111 days is a worry and Carnevale is preferred. She too was beaten when making her handicap debut a few weeks ago, but would have benefited from a more strongly run race and is likely to come on for this experience. NON-RUNNER
Our final bet of the day comes at Doncaster, where Frosty The Snowman could get off the mark in the 20:30. Though yet to win, he has been running well of late and finds conditions to suit tonight. Tower Power and Strait Run have the best form in the field, but must recover from poor runs last time out, while Far Ranging and King's Prospect could make an impact on handicap debut. However Ruth Carr's Frosty The Snowman is himself entitled to improvement and can gain a first career victory here.
