Foggy's Wall, trained by Paul Nicholls, was pretty smart in this sphere last season and looks the one to beat in Kempton's 14:00. Northern-raider Five In A Row was also impressive when winning his bumper in the autumn and may pose the biggest threat ahead of the likes of A Tail of Intrigue and Supreme Present. Foggy's Wall won a couple of Wincanton bumpers last season, showing smart form on the second occasion. He has shown plenty of promise when placed in a couple of novice hurdles in December and boasts leading claims here.
Run Ructions Run is marginally preferred to Magic Skyline on their respective handicap debuts, but that pair may have to settle for minor honours if previous C&D winner King Zeal can repeat his excellent Warwick second a week ago. Straits of Messina is another to consider turned out quickly after a fall.
Midnight Request (16:30) has been hit with a 9 lb rise for a couple of improved runner-up efforts in January, but has sound claims of going one better in another weakly-contested handicap. Ivans Back will be more at home over this shorter trip, and may prove the chief threat, whilst Epee Celeste is another who shouldn't be totally ignored from her career-low mark.
