Pontefract 15:05 - Lovely Memory
This is a competitive contest, featuring a number of interesting types, but Lovely Memory gets the nod on the back of her impressive success at Chelmsford. Lovely Memory shaped well on her second start last season, chasing home the impressive Jellicle Ball at Kempton, and she showed even better form on her belated return at Chelmsford, impressing with how strongly she travelled. There's better to come from Lovely Memory and she goes handicapping from a fair mark, so there are good reasons to be positive.
Windsor 16:00 - Sweet P
Sweet P belied a nine-month absence when showing improved form to win here on her reappearance in July, and she added to that when showing a good attitude to take a 5-runner race at Newcastle on her only subsequent start. She's been absent since that victory in July, but was clearly going the right way when last seen and looks up to completing the hat-trick.
Pontefract 16:45 - Rainbow Pride
Rainbow Pride remains with untapped potential, represents a top yard and is well worth another chance having shaped as if in need of the run at Chelmsford last time. Rainbow Pride travelled well for much of the way at Chelmsford last month, on his first start since April, but found less than looked likely, fading into ninth. He is entitled to come on for that run and might prove well handicapped.
