Polarisation is all the rage for Ayr's 14:30, but could be worth taking on with Scarlet Bounty. Both have shown promise in just two starts apiece and although Polarisation has admittedly been running in better company, Scarlet Bounty may be better suited to today's six-furlong trip and shaped better than the bare result when running too freely last time out. With a fillies' allowance also in her favour, she gets the nod.
In the 16:45 at Lingfield, Mallory Heights is taken to make a winning return to the polytrack. A C&D winner in December, he has since put in some poor runs on the turf, but is much more at home on a synthetic surface and is less exposed than most of his rivals. With Adam Kirby a positive jockey booking and the Cumani yard in good heart, he looks a good win and place bet. Putra Eton could be the main danger.
Any Hannon runner at Windsor is worthy of attention and Typhoon Season is well fancied to get off the mark in the 18:35. Though a big price when making his debut in a high-class Newmarket maiden last time out, he travelled nicely through the race and only weakened in the final 100 yards to finish fourth. It looked like six furlongs might suit and so he should go well here. Kevin Ryan's Songye has looked a potentially smart prospect in his two starts thus far and should give the selection something to think about.
