Wandsworth seems sure to make a bold hat-trick bid, but Well Painted (13:30) almost certainly remains in good heart and it's likely that he'll take advantage of this sort of mark sooner rather than later. The four-year-old, trained by William Haggas, got back to winning ways in a 1¼m Windsor claimer in October. Things haven't really gone his way in handicaps at Kempton and over this C&D since but minus the headgear here, he is certainly not one to write off.
Bobcatbilly (15:05) has taken really well to chasing after a year on the sidelines, stepping up on his Ludlow win when a good third at that venue last time, and has sound claims of regaining the winning thread. Saints And Sinners will be a lot sharper for a recent pipe-opener and should also make his presence felt if his jumping comes up to scratch on his chasing debut. The selection jumped well when narrowly making a winning start over fences after a year off at Ludlow this month. Even better when close third back there last time, and one to take seriously again.
Brown Pete will be worth noting in the market while Attain's consistency is hard to knock, but The Wonga Coup (15:15) took a step back in the right direction when mid-field over C&D last time and is worth chancing from a mark 2 lb lower than his last winning one.
