Timeform UK SmartPlays: Friday November 7

One of today's SmartPlays runs at Wolverhampton this evening

"Wyse Hill Teabagsis very capable fresh and his success in the Pertemps Qualifier at this venue back in February looks the most solid piece of form on offer by some margin..."

Timeform advise their three best bets from Musselburgh and Wolverhampton on Friday...

Musselburgh 14:00 - Wyse Hill Teabags

It's a staying handicap hurdle over an extended three miles under consideration first and the one for our money is Wyse Hill Teabags. Although he hasn't stood much racing he is very capable fresh and his success in the Pertemps Qualifier at this venue back in February looks the most solid piece of form on offer by some margin. He backed that performance up with a brace of sound efforts in the spring and given he's back off a break this afternoon, looks capable of adding another C&D success to his tally. That said, this looks a competitive contest for the grade and Tantamount looks a major threat if he comes on for his reappearance.

Musselburgh 15:00 - Yorkist

It's another handicap hurdle, this time over the minimum trip, which contains the next bet and plenty of those with recent winning form look vulnerable up in class. Strongpoint's brace of course victories around the turn of the year are hard to knock and Broughton has hinted at considerable ability more than once, but narrow preference is for Yorkist. He has proved most progressive since joining the care of Brian Ellison and won four times in the space of eight weeks last winter. He also shaped well on his final outing in April suggesting his current mark could be a workable one, and providing he is fit he is taken to continue his upward progression.

Wolverhampton 19:40 - Daaree

We finish with a valuable class 2 handicap over 14 furlongs from Wolverhampton, and Daaree is a confident selection to end the week with a win. He was prominent in the market for tomorrow's November Handicap which tells you something bout how highly he is regarded, but with his sights lowered to this evening's contest he looks very likely to continue his unbeaten run on artificial surfaces. He's won three times from five runs this season and is five from eight in his career overall, with his last win coming at Kempton a fortnight ago where he was impressive again. This evening's field doesn't look to contain any significant dangers and providing he is in the same form as he has been of late he looks more than capable of landing a four-timer.
