Lingfield 13:50 - Mr Pickwick
Mr Pickwick showed some promise in 10-furlong maidens and he took a step forward on his handicap bow over an extended mile at Nottingham, finishing fourth but shaping better than the distance beaten suggests. Mr Pickwick ultimately paid the price for a big mid-race move which saw him sweep into a share of the lead, but he's entitled to progress with that experience under his belt and is likely to prove well handicapped.
Lingfield 15:20 - Rekdhat
Rekdhat produced a career-best effort to finish a fine second in a valuable race in Turkey last month and she looks to hold strong claims in this interesting listed contest. Roger Varian's filly is without a win this term but has been running well and can be relied upon to give a good account, whilst her steadily-progressive profile suggests she may do even better yet.
Chelmsford 18:40 - Mossgo
Mossgo returned from a break as good as ever when finishing runner-up at Lingfield last week and looks to hold sound claims of going one better from the same mark. Mossgo was a prolific winner earlier this year, notching up five wins, and he still looks capable of striking from this kind of mark, particularly on the all-weather.
