Ffos Las 15:15 - Red Devil Lads
Red Devil Lads got his jumping together when an easy winner at Exeter earlier this month and should prove difficult to beat, despite having gone up 11 lb in the weights. The booking of Paul Townend is an obvious positive - particularly for a horse that hasn't always impressed with his jumping - and Red Devil Lads can follow up his recent easy win.
Newbury 15:40 - Owen Na View
Owen Na View has something of a patchy record this term but he was a seriously impressive winner over 17 furlongs here on Saturday, bouncing back to form with a bang having been well backed. He's clearly well treated under a penalty and surely has to go close if replicating that level of form.
Ffos Las 15:50 - Flintham
Flintham - a half-brother to Gold Cup winner Coneygree and full brother to 2011 Hennessy winner Carruthers - can provide the Bradstocks with further success by winning at Ffos Las this afternoon. Flintham was disappointing last time, but that effort did come in Grade 2 company, when there was an insufficient emphasis on stamina, and he can get back on the up now that he's had his sights lowered.
