Heavenly River posted her best effort to date when keeping on well to finish third behind Mysterial last time and, with in-form rider Silvestre De Sousa taking over from a 5 lb claimer, she may be worth chancing here. The hat-trick seeking Mysterial is an obvious danger, but heavenly River gets the nod to exact her revenge.
Ayr 15:35 - Advance
Advance scored again in good style at Redcar last month and could make it three wins for the season for a yard enjoying a tremendous campaign. Advance has gone up 6 lb for the Redcar win, but he did win with a deal of authority and is by no means fully exposed, so he's expected to take the beating again.
Ayr 16:10 - Obsidian
This is a field largely made up of exposed sorts but Obsidian remains relatively low mileage and looks to have been found a good opportunity having finished fourth in a better contest at Epsom last time. Obsidian finished a close-up fourth at Epsom having traded odds-on in running, and a repeat of that level of form should see him go close.
