Timeform UK SmartPlays: Sunday June 14

Two of Sunday's SmartPlays run at Doncaster

"Pudding is still open to improvement, is on a fair mark and has the advantage of a promising, highly-regarded apprentice in the saddle, so looks sure to go well..."

Timeform bring you bets from racing at at Doncaster and Salisbury on Sunday...

Doncaster 16:15 - Exchequer

Exchequer confirmed the promise of his reappearance effort when running out a ready winner over seven furlongs at Kempton last month and he should have the speed to cope with the drop back to six furlongs here. Exchequer is less exposed than most of these, particularly as a sprinter, and there should be more to come.

Doncaster 17:20 - Master of Irony

Master of Irony is a half-brother to the very smart miler Captain Cat and he has shown plenty of ability himself, overcoming greenness to make a winning start at Lingfield before chasing home a subsequent winner over C&D on return. That effort on handicap debut showed that Master of Irony has been fairly treated by the handicapper and there should be more to come.

Salisbury 17:40 - Pudding

The lightly-raced Pudding made a promising return on handicap debut at Newcastle recently when caught further back than ideal before running on well into third. Pudding is still open to improvement, is on a fair mark and has the advantage of a promising, highly-regarded apprentice in the saddle, so looks sure to go well.
