Carlisle 13:30 - Souriyan
Souriyan shaped well when finishing second in a novice chase at Uttoxeter on his debut over fences four weeks ago, pushing the winner close, and there may be better to come now handicapping. It bodes well for Souriyan that he was able to match his hurdles form on his first start over the larger obstacles and, having shaped as if he'd come on for the run, he holds leading claims.
Carlisle 15:10 - Out Sam
Out Sam's jumping failed to pass the test in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival, falling before the race had started to take shape, but he'd previously looked an exciting prospect when winning his first couple of starts under Rules, and he is of obvious interest on his first start for the Warren Greatrex yard. Out Sam is still completely unexposed over hurdles and doesn't appear badly treated on his handicap bow, so he is taken to win this before having another crack at graded level.
Huntingdon 15:30 - Three Musketeers
This is an interesting novices' chase, featuring a number of exciting new recruits to chasing, none more so than the Dan Skelton-trained Three Musketeers who looks the type to thrive over fences. Three Musketeers showed useful form over hurdles, looking a bright long-term prospect when winning a Grade 2 at Warwick, and, boasting the physique and pedigree of a chaser, he is expected to come into his own over the larger obstacles.
