Last year's winner Danandy might not be far away again if putting his best foot forward, but Water Wagtail still looks attractively handicapped returning for a yard in good form and remains lightly raced over fences, so looks the way to go. It's still early days for Trafalgar in his time with Dan Skelton and first-time blinkers may see him bounce back bearing in mind his earlier promise.
Like Minded - 15:40 Stratford
King Edmund clearly remains competitive despite his advancing years, going close again at Fontwell recently, while Wiffy Chatsby was shaping well before departing on his recent return from a long absence at Wincanton, though it may be worth chancing Like Minded back chasing from a much lower mark than over hurdles for the in-form Skelton yard.
