Danzeno (blue) can win the Sprint Cup at Haydock

Danzeno ran well when finishing fifth in the July Cup at Newmarket last time and he looks to hold strong claims in Haydock's Sprint Cup.

Timeform bring you tips from Haydock and Thirsk on an action-packed day of racing.

Thirsk 15:40 - Pyjama Party

Pyjama Party didn't need to improve to register a narrow success at Haydock last time, but he was value for more than the winning margin of a neck and boasts a generally progressive profile, so he is expected to take all the beating here. He'd pushed an exciting prospect in Decorated Knight close at Sandown previously and may still have more to offer, his strong-travelling style suggesting that he's potentially smart.

Haydock 15:45 - Danzeno

Danzeno ran well when finishing fifth in the July Cup at Newmarket last time and he looks to hold strong claims in Haydock's Sprint Cup. Danzeno is relatively lightly raced for a four-year-old sprinter and he may still have more to offer based on the way he kept on at Newmarket, finishing strongly having been set a bit too much to do. Mick Appleby's star is expected to confirm himself as a genuine Group 1 performer.

Haydock 17:30 - Dawn Missile

Dawn Missile has won three of his four starts to date and he is expected to improve that strike rate further still at Haydock. Dawn Missile won here over a mile and a half last month, taking a short while to assert but finishing well on top at the line, and he ought to relish this step up in trip, stamina seemingly a strong suit. He's the type who will carry on improving for a while yet and is likely to be difficult to beat.
