Allez Vic - 15:30 Kempton
Allez Vic shaped well on a couple of occasions over fences before his jumping fell apart at Taunton in December, but his confidence might have been restored by an easy win over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month and he is potentially well treated back over the larger obstacles now. Canuspotit is on a roll and is an obvious threat, alongside Houston Dynimo, who has a good record fresh.
Catching On - 15:50 Uttoxeter
Catching On was mightily impressive when scoring at Exeter 11 days ago and can continue his progression up the chasing ranks under a penalty (due to go up a further 7 lb in future). Carruthers lost his winning chance at the start of January's Classic Chase and did well in the circumstances to finish fifth. He could go well from his sliding mark, with Hawkes Point another to consider.
