Aigle de La See has immediately surpassed his French form for current connections, looking a useful prospect when readily landing the odds at Ffos Las last month, and he's taken to complete the hat-trick despite this looking deep handicap, with the likes of Great Try and Chidswell particularly interesting.
West Wizard - 15:10 Sandown
West Wizard has burnt plenty of fingers in his three-race hurdling career to date but he's bumped into at least useful rivals each time, and may relish this big-field scenario now handicapping. He gets the nod, though cases can be made for several of these, notably Thistlecrack, Arzal (who got the better of the selection at Kempton in November) and the unbeaten Bidourey.
Traffic Fluide - 16:20 Sandown
A trappy heat in which all five have claims. Traffic Fluide is very much going the right way for new connections and can confirm Plumpton form with Seventh Sky, though Charlie Mann's charge should get closer to him on the revised terms. Cayman Islands is also interesting back from a break.
