Qasser may have more to offer on return to this sphere after a respectable Flat campaign, while Perspicace has ability and may be seen to better effect in first-time cheekpieces.
Shangani - 15:40 Taunton
Shangani lost his way early this year but he went very close off this mark at Kempton last Christmas and could be worth chancing on his return with his stable banging in the winners. Paul Nicholls' pair Howlongisafoot and Black River head the dangers.
