Cape Xenia looked a different proposition dropped back to six furlongs last time, recording a personal best with a success at Leicester, and still relatively lightly-raced, she is taken to defy a 6 lb hike in the weights and follow up. Recent C&D winner Mehronissa looks the chief threat to the selection, with Eleusis next best.
Wekeyll - 16:15 Windsor
Wekeyll came on a lot from his debut when a good winner of a C&D maiden in June, which has worked out well, and with further improvement forthcoming, he can make a winning handicap debut. Laidback Romeo, also a C&D winner, may emerge as the main danger.
