The Tin Man - 15:25 Ascot
A useful handicap for three-year-olds. The Tin Man looked to be going places when scoring at Doncaster in July, and with his York defeat easy to excuse, it would come as little surprise were he to resume his progress. Roossey, Dawn's Early Light and Squats can all boast some rock-solid form, so have to be feared.
Secateur - 16:00 Ascot
Secateur was behind Pin Up in a valuable handicap at Haydock last month but a 10 lb swing in the weights might be enough to see John Gosden's charge turn that form around, particularly as there's a chance this confirmed front runner will be able to dominate in this smallish field.
Western Way - 16:25 Fontwell
Don Cantillon's Western Way has very much gone the right way since switched to handicaps and refitted with headgear and might be up to completing a hat-trick. Sir Mangan is a possible threat on his first outing for new handler Dan Skelton, particularly if the market speaks in his favour, while Champagne Present was back on track when third last time and remains relatively unexposed.
